Your licence key was shown on the previous page and has also been emailed to you. Please check your spam or junk folder if you cannot find the email.
Before installing Office, please run the following removal tool:
Select “Completely remove Microsoft 365/Office” and allow the process to finish.
Step 1: Redeem your licence
Redeem your licence key on Microsoft’s website:
Sign in with the Microsoft account you want the licence linked to. You must use this same account when signing in to the Office applications.
Step 2: Install Office
If your Mac is running one of the latest three major versions of macOS
Download and install Office directly from your Microsoft account after redeeming the licence.
If your Mac is running an older version of macOS
Cancel the download that Microsoft starts and download the compatible older installer using the link below:
Download the older Microsoft Office installer
Once downloaded, open the installer package and follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 3: Activate Office
Open an Office application such as Word or Excel and sign in using the same Microsoft account used to redeem the licence. Office should then activate automatically.
